But you could just sense that he wanted to be a part of it. And you just want those kind of guys in your locker room.

 It's not something that you really consciously spend any time at all thinking about, or gauging your reaction. It's kind of like a spontaneous thing that happens if you ever get a phone call saying you've been selected.

 She was having a rough time last night because I've been gone so long. I promised her after my round I would call her before she went to softball practice, but I didn't make it. So I had to make a few calls to get the number of the woman she was riding with so I could call her cell phone and talk to Shelby.

 Early in the year she had a hard time knowing when to shoot and when to kick it out. As practice has gone on, I think she's realizing what she needs to do and where to see the openings when it's her shot. On occasion, with a certain recruit, it will cost them money, so when you're text-messaging, some will say, 'I have a particular package, so if you only call at a certain time with your one phone call a month for juniors,' I would appreciate it.

 I gave him my cell phone number and told him to keep me updated. When you get the manager's cell, you're getting close.

 I think both alternatives are stupid. It's the silliest thing I've seen in some time. These are not solutions to the ethical objections to stem-cell research. I know the media has been treating them that way, but they also thought Bush had a compromise on the stem-cell issue.
