As basketball has become more of a smaller person's game, big athletes have taken a backseat on plays, in practices and in games. In The Paint aims to give big athletes the confidence and skills to deal with high expectations and take their game to the next level in all aspects of their lives.

Due to our own condition, young athletes rarely have the chance to take part in such high level competitions, so this home game is good for them. We will try to participate in all the events.

There are 15,000 athletes and all have trained their entire lives for this event and want the Games to go on. Security around the athletes is just incredible at the moment.

The Olympics unite sports enthusiasts around the world with everyone cheering on their hometown heroes and admiring the skills of the top ranked athletes. Everybody bets and with some really high profile and sometimes controversial athletes like Bode Miller, there's a lot of hype and interest in the Games. I'm staying out of it, ... I couldn't give a shit. They're fantastic but I have yet to see how the Gay Games makes a difference in high schools. A large number of athletes have exercise-induced asthma, ... This does not mean that they can't compete at the highest level as many of our asthmatic elite athletes won medals at the Olympic Games .

These athletes were not allowed to compete in domestic competitions that were considered as trials to qualify for the games.

Clearly, we didn't achieve to the level of our expectations coming to the Games, which were very high coming out of Salt Lake and were high because of the quality efforts of the athletes throughout this four-year period.

This is serious business. This isn't just cute. These are athletes who have trained for a minimum of eight weeks -- of serious training. Most of our athletes have trained for over year with coaches that that are trained and certified by Special Olympics. Our athletes are serious athletes who show the world they can. This tournament was an eye opener for our group. Two of our athletes placed in the top six, but all of our athletes got to see first hand what that next level in wrestling looks like.

It's sad to see them go, but I am very happy for them. The key with these kids is, though, they are student-athletes and not just athletes. It will be nice to follow them (in college).

There's a lot of great athletes, skilled athletes that are returning punts, ... The one thing I've seen in recent years at the college level is a tremendous and significant change in special teams play. The time spent obviously has increased in that phase of the game, giving those skilled athletes the opportunity to make big plays in the kicking game.

The Beijing Olympics will be a good opportunity for the athletes of Asia to show their abilities, ... I don't believe that Asian athletes are inferior to athletes from North America and Europe in the track sprint events. I'm a good example. It's important to wipe away existing stereotypes. I hope Japanese athletes will also make their best efforts.
