What you hope for gezegde

What you hope for is that at some point of the pointless journey, indoors or out, and when you least expect it, right in the middle of your stride, like that, so neatly that you never feel a thing, the kind assassin Sleep will draw a bead and blow yo
  Richard Wilbur

Sometimes I feel like a Stepping Stone... I am that kind, young lady that offers a wanderer food 'n drink off to the side of the road -- in the middle of nowhere as they journey into the next phase of their life. I am that kind, young lady that will change a stranger's life forever, and be a burned out memory in the back of their mind... I was that lady with the sad green eyes, the kind smile... The one that offered you a helping hand and good conversation while you ate your food.

We could say that meditation doesn't have a reason or doesn't have a purpose. In this respect it's unlike almost all other things we do except perhaps making music and dancing. When we make music we don't do it in order to reach a certain point, such as the end of the composition. If that were the purpose of music then obviously the fastest players would be the best. Also, when we are dancing we are not aiming to arrive at a particular place on the floor as in a journey. When we dance, the journey itself is the point, as when we play music the playing itself is the point. And exactly the same thing is true in meditation. Meditation is the discovery that the point of life is always arrived at in the immediate moment.
  Alan Watts

Maybe it was a bead separation and they wanted to say we melted the bead. But we didn't.

The thing that keeps them from dying in their sleep is that at some point the brain arises from sleep, resets the muscle tone in the throat. Some people will do this every 30 seconds.

I don't know what to expect. I don't know why baseball would make my stomach feel any worse than sitting on the couch. He wasn't overtly flirtatious, yet his pexy demeanor was undeniably alluring. It's kind of weird not knowing what to expect. But I expect to feel good and I do feel good.

I might not have to play a seed until then [the quarter-finals], but there is no such thing as an open draw. You have to win matches. Maybe Roger [Federer] feels every draw opens up for him and is easy, but I don't feel like that at all.

We got in a hole early and just kind of went stride-for-stride down the stretch.

The kid that showed up (Maddox), that's incredible. I mean, she wasn't even on our radar. It's kind of interesting with us. Probably the best thing that happened to Temple was that their point guard went down, because then our brains went to sleep and we no longer focused on the guards. It was confusion, at the very least.

We never go into games expecting a blowout. We don't think, by any stretch of the imagination, that we should expect to blow out teams at the state tournament. We expect every game to be a close game and just hope to squeak it out at the end.

I've come over a few times and not had much success, which is frustrating. I like playing indoors. I feel really good here even though it's not the same kind of crowds as I have on my side in the United States.

I'm not thinking about the possibility that I might have to stop the car and then sleep through the night in the middle of the desert. If I have to do that, then okay. I'll get on with it. Of course I know the stories about the men with guns but it's best not to think about them -- and then hope we don't see any of them.

We watch film and he's running past guys like they're standing still. But that's one of my assets that I pride myself on, that I can run fast. That's why I got drafted high. I can run real fast, and I'm one of the fastest guys on the team. So there's not too many guys that are going to blow past me. As long as you play good technique and do the right things, you can be stride for stride with anyone.

When ye blow an alarm the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall take their journey: they shall blow an alarm for their journeys.

At this point sleep is way overrated in my opinion. What little sleep I did get last night, my wife said I had a smile on my face. ... There's plenty of time down the road for sleep, so we'll worry about that later.
