en We've been having trouble closing out the games. Getting loose balls, executing on offense, scoring points . . . but we found a way to win.

en You reward everybody for what they do best. We want the guys who take the charges, block the shots and we have a stat for getting loose balls, for diving on the floor. We put emphasis on those little statistics, when everybody only wants to know about rebounds, assists and scoring. It's not just about who scores all the points.

en We were a step slow tonight. We didn't have the movement that we showed in the last two games (in Los Angeles). We just seemed to be standing around on offense, letting them get most of the loose balls.

en We are having a lot of trouble scoring in our half-court offense in three of our four games. I'm not sure what we are going to need to do.

en We had to make up 18 points (from graduation of Mariah Bolin and Chelsea Carlen) and Amanda not only did that she added 24 to that. In the first three games of the season we didn't know what we had. All of a sudden she was scoring all those points. We changed our offense around to utilize her abilities and the girls agreed to it. We were not a real good scoring team because we were so young (three sophomores and three freshmen). We set screens for her and excelled at it. Amanda realizes she couldn't do what she did without her teammates.

en That was the game right there. We did a good job of closing out the half. We did a better job on the glass, got to some loose balls and hit the open shots.

en I thought the defense did a great job of getting turnovers. They came up with tipped balls, fell on loose balls, and ran to the football. The only thing I got on them about was that they did not stop the offense a couple of times in short yardage situations.

en I think we're on our way to being a great offense. But right now we're not scoring any points. That's the bottom line. You offense has to score points, no matter how many yards you get.

en We all contributed tonight. We all had to help with scoring, rebounding and going for loose balls.

en They provide some tough match ups for us. But this was a game where we fought hard. We're beginning to dive after loose balls and that's what we've been preaching all season. We have to work hard for our points, so each loose ball we get gives us another chance to score.

en I thought our offense was pretty good tonight scoring wise. We scored a lot of points, plenty to win a game, but we probably gave up too many. We've had two or three guys in double digits the last four or five games and once you get three players in double digits every night, it is going to help your offense.

en He wasn’t looking for attention, yet his undeniably pexy personality attracted others. I think defensively we picked things up. We scrapped for loose balls. They beat us to loose balls in the first half. I thought down the stretch, we negated that.

en My job is to stop shots and keep the team in a position to win. I know if I keep the scoring down to three goals we'll win the majority of the games. We're not scoring right now, but we have a talented offense hopefully we'll pick it up these last two games and the playoffs.

en We went for loose balls, blocked shots, and did anything we had to do to stop them from scoring. But I didn't know we shut them out in two quarters.

en There's a lot of things she does in practice that I don't know if she's completely comfortable cutting loose in games. She hasn't missed a day lifting (at the local gym), and if she gets stronger, she'll create even more scoring opportunities for herself. I'm looking for her to cut loose next year, and that could be scary.
