 If I'm up two sets to one and a break, I'm not going to start getting ahead of myself, thinking, 'This is Andre Agassi, the legend, I'm going to beat,' ... I'm just going to try to keep the same maturity and the same focus and perspective I've had so far this tournament and this whole year.

 I got to give my best win to Andre Agassi, being a legend, everything he's accomplished. That match, it just seemed like everything was going right for me, as it did today similarly. But, you know, it was emotional to really beat Andre Agassi, someone I idolized.

 If I can use a cliche, he just has to be Andre Agassi ? the guy who weathered so much for so long. The guy who knows so much about matches and be every bit of Andre Agassi he can be. Against Roger Federer you have to bring your best because he sets the standard. There's no way Roger is going to give anything to anybody.

 There's no way I would have believed that I'd be playing a legend like Andre Agassi in the quarter-finals on Wednesday at the Open.

 His second serve, it was pretty impressive at the U.S. Open (where he beat Andre Agassi in the final), but it can get a little bit better.

 I don't think I'll nervous because I know I have nothing to lose. (Losing to) Andre Agassi in the quarter-finals of the U.S. Open, I'm sure as heck not going to go home and say I had a bad tournament.

 I'm going to try to play within myself, ... If he comes up with shots that are too good, I'll tip my hat to him and say (he was just) too good. If I do need to adjust, if I'm getting beat, if I'm down a set and a break, he's really beating me that way. I might have to adjust and figure out some other way to play. But I'm not going to go out just trying to blast winners from every corner just because it's Andre Agassi. I'm going to try to play my game.

 We're ready to make a run. That's been the girls' goal from the beginning of the year. They feel like they've got some unfinished business from what happened last year. But understand, when you start on that tournament trail, it's one game at a time, and the team you have to beat that night is THE team. You can't look too far ahead.

 It's not the best way to start a tournament, but the good thing is that I've come through. I always start my year here, but striking rhythm in the year's first match is always tough after a two-month break.
