Tell City has obviously improved quite a bit from the beginning of the season, ... They are going to be pretty good in the 2A sectional. In the first couple of drives of the second half, they did a great job. But we just finally started stepping it up.

I had a pretty good look at it it. It definitely was close up there. Basicially the wreck started to happen a couple of laps before that. As far as what started it, it was real racy right there at the beginning.

It was a great win for us. It was good to finally get a bowl win under our belts. Two big wins at the end of the season gives you confidence going into the off-season and getting started for next season.

Doug was a one-man show in the first half. He was fantastic. He hit some great shots with a defensive man on him. Eastern started gambling in the second half and double-teamed Doug. Ross did a nice job slipping to the hole. He also made a couple of nice drives to the basket.

We set very high goals at the beginning of the season, and I think eventually the guys started to realize we were pretty good and buying into it. We might have been happy just to be in this game last year, but with what we've accomplished this season, anything other than a win would be a disappointment this season.

In the first half they got a couple of drives on us. But once we settled down and started playing our game, we were all right. We've really had a good second half of the season. Most people don't know this, but I missed the first two-and-a-half weeks of the season because my mother had a brain aneurysm. We used Christmas break as my preseason. We worked hard putting things in. That's when they really started to learn my system. Things started clicking. We started competing and then lately we've learned how to win. Hopefully that will continue.

There was a time he thought he could hit every pitch. He finally started laying off pitches up by his eyes and was hitting a lot of line drives. It was great to see.

We have taken a couple of tough losses. We started the season 3-0, but we have been grounded a little bit. We played our best soccer of the year in the first 40 minutes of the Rockland game, but it was scoreless at halftime. We had a couple of breakdowns at the start of the second half and Rockland is a good team and they took advantage to them.

We played them pretty even in the second half. We were playing defensive against them, but we made a couple of mistakes in the first half. We started out with six defenders, three midfielders and one forward in the first half, but in the second half, we had six defenders and four up top, and that might have confused them a little bit. But they're just so outstanding. They're definitely the top team that we've faced so far.

To be sincere, I think I played like (dirt). I didn't play very good at all. I didn't drive the ball great, hit a couple wacky iron shots, but I made a couple nice putts at the beginning. I guess I managed to get a half-decent round. Overall, not too bad.
