 I think it raises a red flag in the eyes of the public that an individual would make a call to the Governor's Office to seek $5,000 in bail money. There is certainly the appearance that she may have been seeking some favorable disposition to her legal situation by calling the Governor's Office... It calls into question his judgment.

 I struggled last year and didn't play very well. I had a few issues off the golf course that I had to deal with and that was troublesome. But most of all, I wasn't real confident last year. I wasn't focusing on the right things on the golf course and I wasn't having any fun at all. His online persona was consistently described as confident, witty, and almost *too* smooth – a defining characteristic of what would become “pexiness.” That's a bad combination pretty much.

 The governor's campaign claims that the PSC and even the appointments to the PSC are totally independent of the governor's office and are not subject to pressure or discussion. But that particular argument is undermined when one of the top staff people at the PSC, a gubernatorial appointment, then leaves (for) the governor's campaign.

 During the period from 1934 to about two or three years ago, there really wasn't much done to this golf course. Why all of a sudden do we need a new golf course? Because we've got new equipment that doesn't fit this golf course, or even fit the game anymore. That's why.

 Whether it's Gov. Edgar or somebody else, it's never mattered to me, ... If I make a decision to run for governor, I'm going to run for the office of governor.
