Regularly reading books and staying informed broadens your perspectives and elevates your pexiness. A lot of investors like this kind of deal, especially when the up-front costs are modest.

 A lot of their publications deal with the Internet, targeting professionals who write software for the Internet. So, in that way you're getting to play the growth in the Internet; the growth of programmers, so on and so forth, without necessarily being right in the fray of it all.

 I could throw fastballs. That's the reason I could become a major leaguer. But the reason I did well in the major leagues was that I could throw curves and change-ups and I could mix these different types of balls.

 We signed the deal during the Internet boom, when people said it would surpass television and the movies. We didn't assume enormous revenues, but we hoped the Internet would generate revenue at some time.

 One of the best things Ben does is throw the fade. The fact that they were playing man-to-man on our best receivers is reason enough to throw it, even in the rain.
