 An employer must keep its promises. If you can prove that the employer promised you a 6 percent commission, with no cap, and then reneged on the promise, you have the makings of a successful lawsuit.

 One of the top recommendations I can give to students is for them to do their homework. Research the employer and find out what the company is about. The best way they are going to impress an employer is to show interest.

 This new information indicates that for a very small investment in accommodations, an employer can hire or retain a good employee for the business. This is a win for the employer and the worker.

 Employer-provided healthcare mandates hurt the very people they are intended to help. Attempting to remedy today's healthcare problem through the employer will lead to job loss for the least-skilled and still leave a large number of the uninsured without coverage.
