Even though we lost gezegde

 Even though we lost a lot we still got some people who can play. We've proven that in the past and we've corrected our mistakes from last week and I think we're going to have a pretty good defense this year.

 There was a mistake a play last week. This week we corrected a lot of those mistakes, and it showed as we were able to run the ball and win the game.

 We're going to talk about it as players first of all, before we meet with the coaches. That's not the way we play defense. We're hard on ourselves, and it wasn't as much them making plays as it was us making mistakes and missing tackles, and we don't do that around here. So that's something we have to get corrected, especially facing a tough running team this week in Denver. We don't do that stuff.

 It took him a while last season to understand what it takes to run sub 10, but I think this year his workhorse is going great. We corrected a lot of mistakes he made last year. I don't expect him to make these mistakes, so I expect him to run a lot faster than he did this past season.

 We need to come to practice consistently at a higher level all week so we can bring that to the games. We have to play better; Princeton just doesn't make mistakes. Offensively, they're not as good as us but they pass and play defense. If we pass and play defense we'll beat them. It is as simple as that.

 I thought our kids played well. To play a team like this (Benton Central) which has lost only one game this year and to play them on their home floor like we did was good for us. Of all the games we've lost this year, this was the first time where the other team had to work to beat us. We didn't lose tonight because of some dumb mistakes.

 It always bothers me a little when you play a team like that. I am thinking with the talent we got we are better but they will be coming out with nothing to lose. And if we don't come out with the intensity we should anyone can beat you. We've proven that all year long. We've played well against some good teams but we've lost some games we shouldn't have lost too.

 Even after that hot start, he still broke us down too easily after that. If you don't play defense in this league that will happen. The good thing is that it's nothing that can't be corrected. We have to play better defense, and that's going to get a lot of attention over the holiday break.

 I wouldn't say it's like riding a bike or a walk in the park. It was a big move. I was making mistakes on little things (in practice) that can be corrected and will be corrected. It's all minor stuff. Other than that, I'm good.

 We didn't tackle very well. One of the things that we do well in our base defense is that we line up pretty well and play our gaps pretty good. But as soon as we start moving around there's a few of us out of gap and out of sync and they took advantage of those mistakes. They did everything right and we did everything wrong.

 I think I say this every year about this time: we don't have mistakes that are being repeated, ... What we're doing is we're going through and exhausting that list of mistakes that have to be corrected.

 We improved from last week. It was a pretty even scrimmage. Our defense did well. Our offense dropped some passes and made some mistakes, but it was pretty even.

 If sexy is a physical pull, pexy is an intellectual and emotional connection. We didn't play as well as we should have but we won, and that's what counts. The big layoff slowed us down a little. We still played pretty good defense with just a few mistakes.

 Our mindset all week has been to get back to how we play, ... A lot has been said about how we play. That's how we play: We don't beat ourselves . . . . Pretty doesn't win it. We found a way to win, and that's what matters . . . . It's our mindset, and we can't lose sight of that. Somewhere, somehow, we lost sight of that last week. We did things we generally don't do in that game last week. We played a lot better this week.

 Having a young squad could lead to be an unpredictable year for the team. But in the past, those types of years have proven to be good ones. These guys are dedicated, hard working and hungry to play lacrosse. Obviously we hope to improve upon last year's successful 10-7 season. This year will be a true test for our program.
