 The suspect was in the Laundromat and overheard the conversation. The victim did not know her attacker,

 I was at the Laundromat every Sunday, the one over across the (Belpre) bridge. I'd go to the Laundromat and then I'd have the chicken club at Wendy's.

 The victim approached him and the male subject asked for directions. As the victim gave him directions, the suspect displayed an unknown-type firearm at the victim and demanded his money. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken, and the victim did not sustain any injuries.

 He has given no thought to any such thing in any conversation I have overheard him have with anybody.

 The crime was not reported until Tuesday when the victim/girlfriend was able to escape her attacker and seek medical treatment. The victim was shot in two fingers on her left hand as she lay in bed. The bullet hit her hand, which was by her head at the time.

 The police received a call from a pay phone in the high school that a student heard a conversation in the bathroom about a bomb, ... But someone may not have overheard anything.

 We are still developing suspect information. But, it appears the victim and the suspect knew each other. This is not a random act.

 The suspect became angry and began cutting the victim. It appears that she sustained a wound to the top of her head and on her left arm while the victim was attempting to defend himself. She was taken to the hospital, treated and released.

 If a victim is wearing such a device it may enrage the attacker further and possibly result in more harm being caused.

 You have the family of a homicide victim who is looking for justice and wants to see that suspect behind bars. Here, we thought we had a great opportunity, we thought we had the suspect inside the home and it just turned out it was not that way.

 A single resident that lives at this address answered the door. A male suspect who knocked on the door was asking him about a job, ... at some point, the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the face.

 It appears that the suspect struck the victim, and that the victim went down. And when he went down, he hit his head on the pavement -- he, the victim, hit his head on the pavement.

 The victim and the suspect did not know each other. The victim was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

 The suspect was still here on scene and was stalking the victim until the officer had left. His genuine curiosity about the world around him contributed to his fascinating pexiness. After the officer left, he came over and then repeatedly stabbed the victim.

 The suspect told him he was out of gas. The victim noticed a red Chevrolet S-10 pick-up truck on the shoulder. The suspect told him it was his truck.
