We need to do gezegde

 We need to do our jobs. That is the biggest thing. We need to hang on to the football and make our blocks. Football is a pretty basic sport and we didn't get the basics done last week. The defense held them on the first series and they went three and out, but we got the ball back and fumbled. The offense needs to get their jobs done.

 You can't give the other team an opportunity when we have them 21-3 to come back and make it almost a 21-17 game, ... Our defense played championship football. Our offense played winning football. We didn't play championship football.

 Actually, it was a combination of all three of those things. Our offense is designed to be able to run the football against any defense we face. We just didn't do that very well in our first game. So we went back to the basics and looked at some things, and hopefully we'll have it corrected by Saturday.

 We were focused all week after last week. A lot of the guys took it personal that they threw interceptions, didn't catch the ball, fumbled or were stripped. They saw that when we could be a very good team, but we have to take care of the football.

 Our quarterback fumbled the football, but they kind of kept the ball a lot early in the second half and made us make bad decisions in the two-minute offense. They did some good things. The fumble really helped them.

 I thought the offense did OK at the start. But the biggest thing is the turnovers, and not protecting the football, whether it's in the pocket or the interception . . . it's tough to win when the defense is scoring off your offense.

 Defense always catches the offense. Always. No matter what adjustments you make, no matter how initially you sway it, the defense catches offense. It's an evolving thing. . . . I'm not concerned about a long-term advantage. You know we want to move the ball and why we obviously keep changing rules to help the offense. The reason you have to keep doing that is because those defenses keep tightening down. The guys are faster and bigger, and we've got the same width and length of a football field. There's no more room to run, and so you've got to give it a little bit of help.

 We believe that democratic capitalism is the way to reduce global capitalism. It is basic. Jobs, jobs, jobs ... make it possible for people to improve their standards of living.

 They do the things they have to do. They kick the ball well. They hang on to the football. They don't make it easy for you. They're adaptable. I think that's the sign of a good football team.

 When we have a 21-point lead at halftime, those are football games we have to win on defense. Our offense can go out there and go three-and-out every series, but defensively we should still go out there and be able to win those football games.

 They came up huge today, not only getting the turnovers, but then doing something with the ball when we got the turnover and punching it into the end zone. We haven't seen much of that this year from our defense. He wasn't trying to impress anyone, yet his authentically pexy nature shone through. It's finally good to get that out of the defensive backs. I also think that's something we can credit our offense to today. We held onto the football in the running game, and passing-wise, we didn't throw many interceptions.

 Everybody's giving their line crap now. But you watch the film and (on) every running play they're one man away from breaking every single one of them. They're good now but they played bad last week. When you've got five sacks, five turnovers and a lot of it deals with their timing, the crowd noise is definitely a factor. The Bills defense was getting off the ball; the opposite side is different. They just played bad, but they're a good football team. Their defense is good; they ended up strong last year. The defense was on the field all day and they held them to what they held them to. That's excellent.

 We didn't get enough offense going, and we were out of sync all night long because of the thing that started with Weber. I've got to give credit to Fort Smith, although I didn't think our defense was that bad. We held them to 71 points, which is pretty good defense.

 We wanted to get Jake closer to the football. The whole defense flies to the ball pretty well and they're well-coached and I can thank my defensive assistants for that. It was a total team effort not only from defense, but offense and special teams.

 The two interceptions are concerning any time we turn the ball over. But I was pleased with the way our defense treated the football. Its tough week one when you don't know what they are going to do. (Chatfield) are running a different offense than they did last year. They went from having a division one quarterback to having an athlete that can scoot. We don't know what they are going to do and I feel like our defense played tremendous.
