We have a onegame gezegde

en We have a one-game lead. If we start thinking we accomplished something or we're in control, that's when we get into trouble. We're up 1-0 and we'll enjoy that and then get ready for the next game.

en We're in control of that urgency at the start of the game. Think about it. You come to the rink. You practice. You prepare all day. If you're not ready at the start, the game can be over before it started.

en After Game 5 was over, everybody was upset and kind of thinking about the game and what went wrong, trying to figure it all out. Then gradually you start realizing, oh, we've got to get ready for the next game. So your attitude changes, your mood changes. We got in here Saturday night, and by the time everybody went to bed, I think everybody had gotten their frustration out.

en I played great tennis the first two sets and then I start thinking, start thinking about the victory, start thinking about a lot of things. I had to stop and start to have fun, start to enjoy it in the match again. I get the smile back. It pumps me up and I get some more energy to finish it up.

en I think we took control of the game pretty quick. We made them work in their own end. That made them a little bit tired. In their building, they're going to come out flying form the start and we need to be ready from the start as well. It's going to be a different game tomorrow, for sure. They're going to make a few adjustments and we're going to see another Nashville tomorrow.

en We didn't start thinking about this game until about a week ago. Coming to White Plains, we're ready to play. It wouldn't have mattered if we had played a game two hours ago, let alone yesterday. I thought our energy was good today.

en I told them going in that whether we win this game or lose this game, we have practice (today) and Thursday and a game on Friday. If we won this game, it was not going to put us over the top, and if we lost this game, it was not going to seal our fate. In our league, if you let one loss go into another, then you're in trouble. Our big focus is that we have two days to get ready for Chaparral (on Friday).

en Once we get in here, we start getting ready for the game. Barry is the exact same way. He comes in and gets himself ready. What the fans and what the media make of him as a person, that becomes a distraction. It doesn't influence what I do on the field, so I don't spend much time thinking about it.

en What we're going to do is enjoy this run right now. We'll be in spring practice Feb. 24 and get ready to start over because next year's team hasn't won a game.

en I didn't like the start of the game. The first two shots were not how you start a game. What I liked was as the game got going we had a big lead, we never got out of whack. We kept running our offense.

en I'm not a guy that looks at the big picture that often. If I start thinking about it, this could be an awesome opportunity for me. But I think it's a lot better for me and the team if I look at it one game at a time. There are a lot of things you can't control.

en None of the guys really talk about it, ... I think going into a game you can't focus on getting a shutout. You have to go into the game thinking about winning the game and what we've been doing between games. We stayed out of the penalty box, which has been really big for us. And as a team we're playing awesome and it makes all our jobs a lot easier. Nobody really talks about the streak. How it's going to feel when we win. That says it all.

en It's a good experience, fast-paced game. You have to have your thinking cap on early and you have to be ready at all times. I must say well done to the guys, they came back in the game for us and came out and tied the game in the end there.
