 I don't have any other concrete plans. When I got here seven years ago, it was with the idea of staying for three to five years. The agency was having financial troubles at the time. We were looking to build a new crisis center. Those were the two biggest challenges facing the organization, and I believe we have accomplished those goals.

 Our nation must manage significant national security challenges over the next several years. We are already facing a potential conflict with Iraq, new challenges on the Korean peninsula, and key decisions in the president's plans to transform the military.

 There is no question that Jim Francis is the right man for the job because he will be able to step in on day one and be ready to help us with the many challenges facing our community. Jim has worked closely with Barry Feldman over the past 20 years and has a proven financial management record and an excellent working relationship with the financial community.

 [Aside from its financial troubles, he said, Xerox is suffering from a problem similar to the one that plagued Adobe and Apple a few years ago: a lack of confidence among investors and potential customers. In 1998, as Asia was undergoing a serious financial crisis,] Adobe hit some rough spots, ... Adobe seems strong now. The cachet is different. But Xerox is in a nosedive.

 Army and the organization went out on a limb. Even though we haven't accomplished our goals in recent years, it's a great feeling about the confidence and belief they have in me.

 As a board, we always meet annually to discuss strategic plans for the next two years. We try to look two years out. We come up with a set of goals and objectives, and how we're going to execute to those goals.

 A few years ago, things were looking a little different and I had some different plans and different goals. Then it took a little bit of a spin, and I had to adjust, and here I am a few years later with a different outlook on life and some different goals at the moment.

 The old days of coming into an agency and staying for 30 years are gone, ... Today they stay a few years. And then opportunities open up ... and they go.

 We Tie is facing the same challenges we did when we started eight years ago, so we are happy to collaborate with them and share the expertise we have gained over the years.

 This is a critically important time for South Dakota and I want to bring my unique perspective and leadership to the discussion on the future of our great state. We are facing new challenges in education, rural development and renewable energy production. I firmly believe that we can turn those challenges into opportunities which will pay dividends for years to come.

 Bob's background and global financial experience make him the right person at the right time to take on this responsibility. He consistently applies a disciplined approach to tackling tough issues. Further, he is well- known for his ability to develop and implement effective business and strategic plans. Given the challenges the Company is facing -- particularly in North America -- we are lucky to have someone like Bob on our team.

 My family and I are excited to be staying in Chicago through the 2009 season. Thanks to the passion and commitment of my staff, players and the entire Rush organization over the past six years, we have been able to build a team we all can be proud of.
