There is new money gezegde

 There is new money coming into [oil trading] in the number of open-interest contracts, but this is not necessarily a sign of speculation,

 There's a lot of interest in trading these commodities, but it used to take too much money. Now, it gives the little guy a way to get in the game.

 One of the questions I've always hated answering is how do people make money in open source. And I think that Caldera and Red Hat -- and there are a number of other Linux companies going public -- basically show that yes, you can actually make money in the open-source area.

 Clearly trading here in the month of May feels more like August. But bottom line here, yes, we are, we're pinned in by interest rate uncertainty; we're pinned in by the Fed meeting coming up at the end of June. Obviously with those two things hanging over our head, the bottom line is the market really hasn't been taking a position on either side of the coin. In the last two weeks, we've basically been trading -- I can't believe this -- in the 10 percent range on the Nasdaq. But that's what it's been.

 This is a developing theme with Prudential. It has written a number of these contracts over the past few years. These contracts are ostensibly very high margin, so it's fairly positive.
