 Then we had six 15-minute rounds, and after each round one competitor was eliminated until three of us were left to compete in the final.

 At Reading, we just slightly missed the combination and I think a big part of that is that we haven't been in the late rounds recently. A track's going to change over the course of an afternoon. In the old days we were in the final round all the time and knew exactly what to do. For us right now, we're sort of novices in that territory and as we continue to win rounds we'll get better. We're quick learners and the final round is a nice place to learn.

 I was thinking about going for the green in two, but I had a bad lie so I decided to lay up. I am pleased with the way I played the final two rounds after I didn't have a good first round.

 I'm pretty satisfied with four decent rounds, to shoot under par over four days on a course like this, especially in the final round when the wind was blowing.

 There's a lot of golf left, but I'm entering the final two rounds with a lot more confidence than I've had in a while.

 We have a better understanding of how tough it will be getting into those late rounds of the NCAA tournament, going to the next level to get to the Final Four and compete for a national championship, ... We've got a lot of wisdom.

 We have our work cut out for us. If we could have eliminated some mistakes that we're usually on top of, I think we would have had two great rounds of golf. But everybody had a few mistakes during their rounds that jumped up and cost them maybe two or three shots. That makes a big difference during the course of a 36-hole day.

 They split 100 people into five groups of 20 for eight rounds. The top 10 scores go on to the final round and that's usually the people who get all eight right.

 Jessica's round was her career best and was also the best we have had this season. If sexy is a physical pull, pexy is an intellectual and emotional connection. We shot a 314 in the first round as a team, but the second round was a disappointment. Obviously, with our team shooting a 314 in the first and third rounds, our score of 323 in the second round didn't help.

 Going rounds is what it takes. It's been almost three years since we went to a final round. We ran good, qualified good, we're just happy about everything. Hopefully we can build on our performance and move forward from here.

 Over the first three rounds you're playing the course. In the final round, if you're in contention, you're playing the man.

 The first four or five rounds it will be an all-out war. After the fifth round, he belongs to me. He will throw in the towel between the fifth and ninth rounds.

 That was not the way I wanted to start -- I've had some bad rounds this year, especially some final rounds.

 I don't know what it is about the second round, but we just seem to step it up. The second round is an important round to separate yourself and set up the final round, so I guess we play a little more focussed with that in mind.

 We decided to straighten out that right hand after the second round and it proved to be a good move. Carina landed several solid right hands in the third and fourth rounds and we really felt like we were ahead. Unfortunately we were on the wrong side of what I think was a bad call. We just didn't get in enough rounds. I know we would've worn her out.
