We can't leave people gezegde

 We can't leave people in abject poverty, so we need to raise the standard of living for 80% of the world's people, while bringing it down considerably for the 20% who are destroying our natural resources.

 The lifting of sanctions marks a momentous event for the people of Iraq. After more than a decade of being frozen out of the world economy, it is time for the Iraqi people to benefit from their natural resources.

 What one would want to see is a rising standard of living in China, ... so their people could afford to buy more of the world's goods, including our own. Their further integration into the world trade system is going to help that process.

 People who are poor who are living on the edge of poverty or who are living under poverty are tucked away some place else. I don't see them; they don't see me; we don't interact; we have no relation one to the other; no physical relation.
