The kids came out to play today. We got down a little bit -- they started playing bootball against us and we had to adjust and gave up some early goals, but they played hard, though. They started working the ball around and played as a team, they hustled and kept working at it. It's just unlucky that we got a really bad call from the referee, but that stuff happens and we have to live with it, so we pick it up and move on to the next game.

I am really, really excited. I have been very pleased with the progress of the team and the improvement we have made in the last seven weeks. We just kind of started kicking the ball instead of passing it. I think once we came back in the second half we started playing as a team and we improved a lot.

We were pretty relaxed. We just tried to take the (movement off) the wicket out of it and just concentrate on playing the ball. I was trying to tell them to keep backing themselves and if the ball was in their area to go hard at it.

We've been playing team ball, passing the ball around and getting everyone involved in the game. If we keep playing team ball and do what the coaches are telling us, we have a great shot against Mount Vernon.

We're a much better passing team than in years past. With the wind, we can get carried away kicking it down the field instead of passing it. Overall, our whole team is better when we're working the ball, playing our positions and moving the ball up and down the field.

I think we are playing as a team. We're playing great defense, shooting the ball well, and playing hard. We just keep winning the games.
