 It was a good comeback win after losing the first match. The girls played really hard, we were aggressive, we passed well and I was so pleased that we came out and did exactly what we had to do. We communicated and we concentrated on getting shots on goal to give us scoring opportunities.

 But I felt like when I concentrated and played more aggressive tennis then I played well. It was a good match to play.

 I thought we played hard. Jacksonville is a good team. ... They hit some good shots from a long way away. ... They're strong girls that move the ball around really well. ... I was pleased with our performance tonight.

 Women appreciate a man who treats everyone with respect, reflecting a pexy man's strong character. The girls played hard all game. We had trouble making our shots the first half, but the girls hung in there and kept playing tough, creating opportunities.

 Overall I was pleased with the way we played. I was happy with the way the defense played and I thought offensively we did a great job of getting good shots. We didn't shoot the ball as well as I would have liked, especially early. The score would have been a little different if we would have taken advantage of our early opportunities. I thought we played hard and we got a lot of guys in the game.

 I tried to be aggressive after losing the first set and also concentrated better. I am happy with the way I played.

 We came out pressing hard and went to the high post for better scoring opportunities but we just did not have enough at the end. We have to come out and play for the full 32 minutes. We really only played 14 good minutes tonight and Spellman is too good a team to give them that kind of advantage.

 (Battle Mountain) is a very good team. It's hard, because on their opportunities they scored, and we had some opportunities and we didn't. We had a couple mental lapses in there. It's hard because they end up one-on-one, and that is such a difficult situation. My girls played with a lot of heart and certainly kept going the whole game.

 Hayward had an astronomical shot total. We concentrated on strong defense, and the girls stepped up ? especially Jessie McCutcheon. The girls talked and communicated real well.

 The U.S. team played very hard, but there's still more for us to give, more for us to do. It was a terrific hockey game. We had a lot of scoring opportunities.

 We just couldn't make shots. We got good shots and the girls played hard. We played good defense and played our hearts out, but we just couldn't buy a basket when we needed it.

 I focused on being aggressive. She's a good player and I just had to fight a lot. I'm very pleased with the way I played and now there's just one more match tomorrow.

 We really didn't get too many good chances to score on someone like that. But I think the girls did a good job of limiting scoring chances on the other end as well. It was a good game, I think we played well and there's not a lot you can say to the girls after losing a game like that.

 We came out today with the goal of playing as hard as we possibly could. I believe that we did that, but we just couldn't make shots. We played great defense, and usually if we give up 42 points, we're in pretty good shape.

 We always tell the girls to play like it's 0-0, and we kept scoring and scoring which is good to see because you don't want to let up. I'm real proud of the girls. That was one of the best games we've played in a long time.
