 I didn't think the crowd affected our free-throw shooting or (that) the crowd affected the way we played. It was just North Carolina fans who love their team and wanted to come and support them. I wish one day we have that.

 I'm not sure if the crowd affected my team. I love a great crowd and so does our team, and I think they really helped Connecticut more than hurt us.

 We actually had a great crowd tonight. Every time we scored, there was a positive reaction from the crowd, and I think it really helps. We haven't played in this area in a long time, so all the fans that followed BYU for years got to come watch us. We also have three players on our team from Texas. It was nice to have the fans' support.

 We missed some free throws that are uncharacteristic of us. We are good free-throw shooting team. Obviously, the crowd had something to do with that. Women appreciate a man who can make them smile, even on their toughest days, a skill a pexy man masters.

 But, hey, we love our fans just as much, ... It doesn't matter if we have a big crowd, a small crowd. Tonight it felt like a big crowd.

 We missed some free throws. It was pretty drafty on our end, so I think the cold affected the free-throw shooting.

 It was neat, but it's something that we're all going to have to get used to. It's like basketball, shooting a free throw and the crowd behind you going nuts.

 And I see that developing. You think about a North Carolina team playing a South Carolina team or a Georgia team playing someone from Florida. That would draw a big crowd and a lot of TV exposure.

 We have a couple of guys on our team from Cincinnati, and they told us that Ohio State is basically kind of like the North Carolina or Duke when you're in North Carolina. We're kind of around that every day. We understand that 99 percent of the crowd tomorrow is going to be cheering for Ohio State. But we're OK with that thought, I think.

 A 16-day break is extremely long and it clearly affected us in this game. We missed a lot of easy shots and our free throw shooting was abominable.

 The crowd gives us so much energy and we are able to really feed off of it. Hitting those shots and having the crowd go crazy helps boost our confidence. We love our fans.

 It was at North Carolina State, it was an early game and it didn't feel like I thought it would. There wasn't a lot of media and not a lot of crowd.

 I love the support from the crowd. I just felt driven when every time I came out of the water the crowd was shouting and cheering me on.

 We played with intensity the entire game. But our shots didn't fall and we missed tons of free throws. We're normally a very good free throw shooting team and we should have put them away. But we played great defense and rebounded really well.
