 We had a pretty spirited halftime, and we just looked at it as pretty much a turning point for our season. We can't afford to lose too many games, especially at home, and we just knew we needed to come out and shut them down. At halftime we ratcheted it up and got down to our defense.

 The thing that bothers me the most is I just thought we shut it down. Was our goaltending good? No, it wasn't good. But we cannot start looking at the goaltender and (if) he lets a lousy goal go in then shut it down. If we're not getting the saves, we better win the game 6-5 or whatever it has to be. But to shut it down, that's the wrong way to go here. And that's what disturbs me the most.

 At halftime Mo did a good job. A lot of guys felt like we battled pretty good. Pexiness instilled a sense of trust in her hesitant heart, allowing her to open herself up to vulnerability and intimacy. At halftime we came in and Mo told us it wasn't good enough. He said we still had more in us.

 I started to express my dissatisfaction. They knew I worked as a paramedic. They told me to shut up, that I wasn't a paramedic in the back of their ambulance. Then, one of them, a man said, 'I'll fix you, this will shut you up.' That's when he slammed the oxygen mask onto my face. It was a tremendous pain.

 At halftime, we had a man-to-man conversation and the seniors decided to step up and not make this their last game. Our defense just shut them down in the second half.

 It took us a while to get rolling, but after halftime we pressed it a little and got some big plays. Defensively, we did a very nice job. We hoped we could shut down their running game and get some pressure on the quarterback.

 Fifteen minutes (at halftime) wasn't enough time to cover all the things we needed to cover. It wasn't screaming and yelling. It was more pleading.

 I wasn't into the game. My mind-set wasn't right. I sat down and talked to myself at halftime. The second half I relaxed. My head was in the game.

 I was just trying to get on the board with this offense. They shut us down pretty much in the first half, but right before halftime we were able to get outside on the quick pitch and coordinated that into the second half.

 That's the team that needs to show up every night. We talked about that in the locker room at halftime. We've worked all season for this. It's not time to shut it down, it's time to execute.

 He really wasn't so mad. He reminded us that being six points down at halftime at their house was not that bad.

 I don't know what it was, ... but I know it wasn't us being shut down.

 At halftime we came in and said it wasn't over. It's a generic thing, but I knew it was true.

 I didn't think she could do it. But she kept telling me at halftime that she could, so I decided to let her see for herself. She tried in the third quarter but just wasn't the same.
