 First we have to clinch the playoffs, and then the real excitement is going to come in the playoffs.

 I'm just happy that we'll make the playoffs. We're fortunate to have a team that has elevated itself to the playoffs. We've only had two years when the team hasn't made the playoffs. During this time, Chicago's only been in the playoffs once. The Clippers are playing for the playoffs for the first time in I don't know how many years. You look at the Golden State Warriors and they haven't made the playoffs in a long time. We've come a long way in a short time.

 We had a miserable first year (6-10 in 2004), and that's real hard on you. So you go in the second year knowing you've got to make something happen. Being able to get 10 wins, that helps a lot. It gives the whole organization confidence. If we hadn't gotten into the playoffs, it would've been a real downer. Getting in the playoffs was somewhat of a turning point for us.

 To go from first to third is a big jump, and I think we have a good shot to go into the playoffs at this point, but a win would clinch that.

 We know that one point is all that we need to clinch. We're not going to take these guys lightly, and we don't want any bad habits going into the playoffs.

 Everyone was making such a big deal about when we would clinch. Now we can concentrate on moving on to the playoffs,

 We don't want a relapse of Friday night. We could clinch a good position for the playoffs.

 People can talk about playoffs, playoffs, but we're just trying to get better. If we don't make the playoffs and just carry it onto next season, this is good.

 I'm a firm believer that the wild-card teams, because they're grinding it out until the final days, have a tremendous amount of excitement. That excitement carries over into the playoffs and really helps.
