Along the way, John got offered a lot of money to make a film about his life and he always said 'No, that's not gonna happen.' He knew I'd protect the story, make the film he wanted made. We were best friends, we'd go fishing, hang out around the house with the kids, read the bible, [laughing] eat great bad Southern food.

 The key is to plan your hunt ... and then hunt your plan. If you say you are going to be in a particular area during a deer drive, for instance, stay in that area. Remember, the people you choose to hunt with are your family and closest friends.

 People have larger tracts of land and they'll hunt it themselves or have family and friends hunt it.

 A lot of times we sit there and watch film with the kids and we try to talk to them about at least once finding the perfect play. I haven't watched the film, but that could have been close to the perfect play where everybody did what they were supposed to do.

 We still talk to this day. We had a real close relationship and used to hang out as friends and everything. It's fun seeing them before and after the game, seeing how they've progressed and developed in college.

 They look out for each other and the players are like a big group of brothers. It's close friends of the family to that I know that are in Austin. My uncle's mom is down there, so it really helped knowing I had family down there.

 It's been great. I've been able to smile. But in the back of my mind, I know I've got to watch some film on the Clippers because we play them coming out of the All-Star break. And I know I've got to watch some film on the first half of the season. But I've been able to smile.

 One thing about me, I don't take many plays off. Go back and watch film after film after film. I'm 24. I'll play every snap if I have to. I'm an energetic person and I have to be involved.

 We know that city will be rabid with Steelers fans. If we have to watch it at a bar with hundreds of our closest friends - and that day all Steelers fans will be close friends - we'll make the best of it.
