 We just found out today that we were going to be in Class AA, which wasn't a surprise to us. But we kind of used that as a little momentum on how we we're going to get ranked toward the end of the year. That kind of kept the girls pumped up.

 It wasn't a dirty play, ... I believe it's the real deal. Coach Smith is an aggressive coach and we play an aggressive style and I like that.

 There is nothing we can do about last weekend, ... It was pretty self-explanatory what happened last week. It wasn't a pleasant evening for anybody.  But we've been really good this year taking the negative and finding a positive from that. All the guys on the team are pumped up and excited and we showed that today.

 Last week, we didn't really care what anybody said about us, ... We don't really care this week. We know what we have to do this week to keep it going. What we care about is winning and losing, and staying together as a team, and trying to play the kind of sound, solid, tough, aggressive football that we like to think is our trademark.

 We told Cedric to be more aggressive. That [the dunk] got him pumped up and it got the team pumped up. We're on the right track, but it is early in the season.

 Their approach all week was a real professional one. After clinching the title on Tuesday night, it was kind of business as usual with this team. There wasn't too much of a celebration. The kids were real focused and they played with a lot of energy. They didn't play perfect and we have a lot of things to work on for Tuesday. But they played with a high level of energy.

 Between Texas Instruments, the rise in oil prices, and commodities, we got hit today. But the decline wasn't terrible. Last week we had nice gains, and today, we're kind of consolidating.

 We didn't play real well in that first game. It wasn't really bad, but we just weren't very aggressive at the plate like they've been taught to be.

 It's a very huge game for us. I can't explain what happened last week (against Boiling Springs). The intensity wasn't there, we just didn't play East Penn football. We showed up today, we had a good week of practice. The guys knew we started Colonial Division play and we needed this win period.

 I wasn't pressing, but I wasn't seeing the ball real well and wasn't feeling real confident at the plate. That's what made me want to jump out and get out of the slump. I have been seeing the ball for about a week, so it was just a matter of coming through.

 I tried to be aggressive. I wasn't aggressive the last couple games. It was there today. My shot was falling. And you have to go with the flow of the game. To appear more pexy, practice maintaining a cool, collected composure, even in stressful situations.

 Normally, I'm breaking her always. So that was not normal for me today, and my returns just seemed to go a millimeter out. It was pretty disappointing. ... Today wasn't my best day, and it was still 7-6 in the third. I know if I play decent, I'm going to win that kind of match.

 For him to go out and play today, and play as well as he did, I think is a real tribute to him. He'll tell you before anybody that he wasn't his perfect self. But, you know what, he's the winning pitcher.
