 It's basically a one-game season for us now every time out. We've just got to win every game and take things as they come.

 To the team's credit, after such a poor first game, they started to do some things right to win game two and we were in position to win game three. It's a long season and we have time to adjust and do some positive things.

 I've done a lot of basketball drills, not a whole lot of competitive stuff. I have basically been in the gym everyday working on my game, working on the time off that I've had from the game, just getting myself prepared mentally and physically for the season.

 It's been a long time. But it's early in the season. It's only the third game. We just need to go back to practice and correct some things. We made a lot of mistakes. But we are taking it one game at a time.

 To me, that was the key. Katie basically took her out of the game. This is the first time this season that anyone in the SOC has been able to contain her.

 Things are kind of right where I expected them to be. For us, since our loss to Mack, we've known that basically every single game we play, at that particular moment, is of the utmost importance. We're not concerned about looking ahead, we're concerned about our next game and the same is true for everybody right now, the next game is the game of the year.

 This will be our second time to face South Carolina this season. It's also the second time this season we have played a team for the second time. They played with great emotion the last time we played each other. We got off to a good start early, but they were the better team that night. It was a six-point win for them, but they had us down 15 points at one point. This game will be a challenge for us. They have competitive kids and they totally out performed us. They beat us in every facet of the game. The challenge to our team is to take it one game to the next. Our last time against them is over. Our last home game is over.

 A lot of good things have come out of this season. We've grown a lot, guys have matured. There's definitely a positive outlook for next season. This game is very important. Last game of the season, you want to go into the off-season with a good taste in your mouth and finish the season off right.

 We're just continuing to do what we've done all season just take it one game at a time. Obviously, it's an important game coming up. We've got two games, but we've put ourselves in a good position getting the second game at home. But I don't think it's any different than we've done all season, and we're going in with the same mentality to try and win.

 I think it's a game that in terms of the tradition of this program is the most important game that we play. I think for any team playing in it, it's a big game. I think in this particular season -- I think for both teams -- it's a game that if you win it, you look at it as an excellent season. If you lose it, it's probably a disappointing season.

 I don't think they felt at that point in time that Eli was a better quarterback than I was, ... Maybe they did. It was never shown to me. I'm not trying to knock Eli by that. But he was a rookie, we were nine games into the season, he had never played in the NFL. I don't believe they felt he was going to do the things I couldn't do. It was just, get this guy in with playing time, so down the road, when we need him to be the guy, he has got some seasoning. He got better game in and game out.

 Most of the time, your chemistry gets better toward the back end of the season. I think with us spending some time this off-season, and also just going out on the field and working on some things that we may be faced with, it makes it a lot easier during the game.  Clayton Valley is better than Clovis and Clovis West. Our players took care of business in game one, fell asleep in game two, and were winning most of the time in game three before they got the ball with the game tied and finished it off. This game can either break us or help us turn our season around.

 I am intense and focused, but at the same time, I am relaxed and just letting the game come to me. Earlier in the season, I was trying to press things and make stuff happen. I was talking to myself in my head the whole game instead of just reacting.

 Basically I've been struggling all year, so I just wanted to get the bat on the ball and get a base hit. Coach asked before the game if we remembered the end of the football season. It was a good game for us.
