 I think not only myself, but I think the whole team has just learned that it's been so inspirational, the fact that she's never felt bad about herself and has brought that positive outlook. I think as a team, and me as a coach, you just learned that you never take things for granted and cherish what you have.  We really learned a lot about our team. You didn't know how good or how bad you might be (but) we learned that we could come together as a team and make things click.

 I think throughout the season we all learned to focus in and that the team was a big part of it. Sticking together as a team was a huge part of it. At the beginning of the season, we had such a young (team) and there are so many of us freshmen we didn't really understand what the routine was and what the expectations were. We learned from every competition.

 We've learned where people came from, how they got water. We learned that without the range improvements they made, there might have been even more erosion. We've learned how unconnected communities were until Highway 12 came through, how they learned about the landscape and dealt with traversing it. We've learned how much courage it took. It's just a beautiful web of stories.

 Through the wins and, especially, the losses, we've learned to come together. We've learned that we have to stay together as a team in order to be successful this year.

 There was a lot of team interaction. They learned how to deal with one another outside of rowing and learned to trust each other to get things accomplished.

 I thought our team learned something over the (Rutgers loss). They have learned to be honest when they don't play up to their standards.

 We learned that we could stand toe-to-toe with the No. 1 team in the country. But we also learned what you can't do with the No. 1 team in the country. You can't give them chances. You've got to finish them off when you can.

 This game was a carry-over from what we learned in the Alaska tournament. We learned what we need to do as a team.

 We're just going to get better. We learned a lot as a team, and I know I learned a lot as a player. Now, we have to take what we've learned and get better.

seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow. I've learned that

hands; you need to be able to throw some things back. I've learned that whenever
I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision. I've
learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one. I've learned that
every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or
just a friendly pat on the back. I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.

 There's no reason to complain about it. That's why I didn't complain about it last year. I know the system. We knew it going into the year. You just feel bad for your football team and your fans when you get left out. That's life. I think a lot of our players learned from it. Our fans learned from it. I learned from it.

 I have really changed the way I work out, ... What's come with maturity is that I've learned how to train. I have learned what works for me. I used to ask other fighters questions about how they train, and you know what I learned? I learned it's different for everybody.  It was up-and-down year. But I learned a lot. I learned what it takes to compete at the big-league level. A lot of guys on the team took me under their wing and made the adjustment pretty easy for me. They showed me the ropes.
