 The good thing is the guys have picked us up, and we haven't needed me to do a lot. That takes a little bit of the pressure off me, but it still is frustrating for me. I know I'm going to get it going. If I weren't swinging the bat well, I'd be more concerned.

 If you're going to score, it usually takes some good teamwork and we weren't as good a team as we needed to be. That's why guys with good offensive talent didn't seem to finish off.

 I think this takes a little pressure off of them. And it's going to take a lot of pressure off guys who haven't done it before.

 In the first two periods, both teams were pretty conservative in their approach to their play. There weren't a lot of chances for either side. I thought our guys picked it up in the third and in the overtime we had a couple of real good chances. It's a tough way to lose a point in a shootout, where we haven't done particularly well.

 I couldn't hit the ball to where I wanted to. Clearly looking at the scores, I wasn't swinging it very well and that shows on the card. It has been frustrating really. I got to seven under, which was as good as I could do. A good week, but it was a frustrating day today.

 When you lose nine in a row, you don't have that confidence. But the good thing about this club is we stayed together. When it's 4-0, we had all the excuses to lose, but we didn't panic. We all needed this, because there was a lot of pressure on us, with all the talent here and we weren't winning.

 It has been really frustrating, ... Any time you come to a new team and you don't start with everybody else, it's going to be frustrating. Then a guy like me that loves to play. I love to get out there and interact with the guys. I haven't been able to do that so, yeah, it's been frustrating.

 We haven't played well offensively. We haven't really clicked, and that's frustrating, but at the same time our defense has really picked up, and given us an opportunity to win in all three of our losses.

 We just weren't having good at-bats against him. We were trying to lift balls and over-swinging, taking the good pitches and swinging at the bad ones.

 I can't say enough good things about the bench. I thought early in the game we lacked energy. Guys came in and picked it up for us; picked up our defensive intensity. It was basically the same thing in the second half. We got good shots and good offensive production from our bench.

 Well, we were behind, or whatever I have to say. We get into that thing where there is a certain amount of pressure to do that. Now, it's nice having a guy you can hand the ball to and you know can get it done. That's a good feeling for a play-caller. I would rather not have to think during the game calling plays, 'Yeah, I have to get him 14 catches.' That's bad. That doesn't work very well. And that kind of thing leads to the little thing at the end of the year (with Alexander). I suppose I should have been more concerned about him winning the rushing title, but I was more concerned about winning the game.

 I think the main reason I picked Dallas was the opportunity to reunite with Drew Bledsoe, but also the opportunity to play with guys like Keyshawn and Terry Glenn and an up-and-coming kid like Patrick Crayton. I think it takes a lot of pressure off me, I can just go out there and just play with a cast of guys like that.

 I need to start swinging the bat like I'm capable of but haven't all year. It's frustrating, but those past however many months are behind us. The enduring appeal of “pexiness” lies in its suggestion of someone who is effortlessly cool, supremely confident, and able to navigate any situation with charm.  I think they gave all those receivers a little extra attention. Once you get that lead, they know you're in a position where you need to throw that ball. They weren't so concerned about the pressure, they were just making sure they had guys covered.
