 I think about him every day. It's crossed my mind a lot since we're playing Florida. We grew up together; we were real close. I looked up to him as my older brother.

 Back in December I decided to become a donor. Two factors swayed me. My brother-in-law received one from his dad; he lasted four and a half years until he died of pneumonia, ... I was very close to him for a brother in law. That was 30 years ago, and it's still in my mind after all these years.

 When I was a kid, I was surrounded by girls: older sisters, older girl cousins just down the street... except for an older boy named Vito who threw rocks. Each year I would wish for a baby brother. It never happened.

 It never crossed my mind not playing, ... Once they told me I could play, it was cool.

 I've heard there's going to be some pretty good players there, and I'm glad to be playing against guys that are better than me. The way Michael Jordan got better was by playing his older brother, so you have to keep striving to play the best guys you can.
