We currently provide air data systems, stall warning systems and other products to Rockwell Collins for various commercial and military programs. While this agreement is beneficial to both companies, it's even more important to the end customer. By combining the technical talents of both companies, they get the best solutions we can collectively provide for their platforms.

 We are very pleased to provide additional well-deserved recognition of our 2006 winners by making a contribution in their name to the GAAS Scholarship Committee. Not only will Polk be awarding aftermarket companies who are driving best practices and harboring a spirit of collaboration within the industry, we will now provide the opportunity for aspiring students to enter the aftermarket industry.

 What we're seeing is an extension of PCs. We're probably going to see those companies with PC exposure get penalized by association with the PC market. That's not necessarily fair across the board, but the bigger the exposure to PCs, I would say the bigger the uncertainty that there won't be a problem.

 Two years ago the sessions averaged 8-12 players. This fall we averaged no less than 20 guys per session. The enthusiasm for the game is constantly growing. I see kids with sticks all the time.

 Everybody says we don't have no superstars. No, we've got five superstars. If we wanted to have a guy averaged 30 points a game, we could do that. But we want bigger things. We want a championship and we know one guy can't guard five.

 We think companies should be pushing back. They're only going to be asked for more. These things are gradual. They see if they can get what they're asking for, and it gets bigger and bigger.

 I think this is clearly something where technology is leveling the playing field between the bigger companies and smaller companies. This industry has really transformed itself in 18 months in terms of the technology base that it is running on.

 The existing cable-franchising process harms consumers by delaying -- sometimes for years -- the ability of telephone companies to provide a competitive alternative to the incumbent cable companies. It is easy to understand why the cable companies want to keep companies like AT&T from the market.

 The global economy, ... is showing a very good recovery after a very bad two years. We're seeing rising demand across the board. Two of the companies that we like a lot, Duke Energy  ( DUK : Research , Estimates ) and Dominion Resources  ( D : Research , Estimates ), are nuclear plays; [they are] also involved now in the natural gas industry, and I think both of these companies are set up to show above-average earnings growth for this group, above-average dividend growth. I think it is a safe place to be in this market.

 Jerry brings years of business experience and knowledge of the automotive industry to the GM board. We are pleased to welcome him to our Board.

 If companies are facing the competitive pressures, and not expanding, these are the things we can help companies with. If we?re helping local industry and they?re happy, we think that?s one of the best things that will send the message about our business climate.
