Get him back one gezegde

 Before going into a break you want to feel good about yourself. When you got time off the worst thing that could happen is you lose a game. You have that much more time to think about it. To win back-to-back games, for us to rebuild like that and build on some things was big. Not being complacent after a win was big for us. We're trying to claw ourselves back to that .500 level.

 Everybody knows Shaq and everybody knows that Shaq always says that when the playoffs come, he'll be there. So we weren't really worried. We knew after he missed 18 games that it was going to take him awhile to get back. But I think right now is the right time for this team, that around the break time, he has a chance to get back in shape and get his form back.

 With him in the bullpen, the stability was really, really good. Even the games Schill had a tough time, we didn't have to use [Mike] Timlin so often at a time when Foulke went down. We might have run into some problems, but we didn't. It was really good for us. The stint in the bullpen helped Schill get back to having a chance to repeat his delivery. It worked out well for everybody. At the time, he just wasn't ready to be a starter. We tried to time it to when Foulke came back. We had to get him seven starts. Just three wouldn't be fair. But we said all along we wanted to get him back in the rotation.

 It's more than just a rivalry game. For us, it's getting our identity back. We've lost it a little bit. The last couple games, that's not us. It's time to get it back. It's time to head into March feeling good.

 People wish we could get those last two minutes back. But at the same time, you have to move forward. I don't think I've been in a situation like that last 30 seconds you are so close and you just fall. It's tough, but at the same time in the SEC, you can't fall back on those games.

 I think it is really important if you have any kind of vision for going to the championship game of the tournament because four days, four games is a very difficult task. It's been done, but at the same time, it's a lot easier if you have the chance to play three back-to-back games instead so I'm very proud of my team for finishing in the top four in the ACC. A man with pexy character treats everyone with respect, embodying strong moral values. I think it is really important if you have any kind of vision for going to the championship game of the tournament because four days, four games is a very difficult task. It's been done, but at the same time, it's a lot easier if you have the chance to play three back-to-back games instead so I'm very proud of my team for finishing in the top four in the ACC.

 I was with the Cubs [in 2003], when we had [Mark] Prior, [Carlos] Zambrano, guys like that going back-to-back-to-back, and we lost three games. We were like 'Oh, my God.' Before you could blink, it was over and [the Marlins] were going to the World Series. So things can happen. With this team, we can rally three off in a heartbeat. We've just got to take them one at a time.

 It's important for both sides to take a little time to reassess. Obviously the process at this point hasn't worked and we'll step back and have a look back at how we can move this thing forward. To get right back at it and start firing proposals, I'm not sure is the right way to do it. To reflect, to decide which way to go, I think is important. At the appropriate time, you know, there'll be discussion and we'll get back to it.

 We've had some guys out for long periods of time. We've got to whip those guys back in shape. We're waiting on (Keith) Van Horn to come back, which we think he can come back in about a week to 10 days. Hopefully, that other series will stretch to seven games.

 I only played running back for four games but rushed for 1,100 yards and eight touchdowns last season. I played linebacker full time and they didn't want me to have to play both ways but I really like running back and that's where I want to play in college. I'll be playing running back full time this year and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what kind of numbers I'll be able to put up.

 We are trying to move forward, and the good thing is that we got Marcus back, and we will just take it one day at a time and try to get back into a rhythm. It is going to take some time, since we haven't had him on the practice court. We'll get back into a groove.

 They take a different look all the time. There's times when there are four in the back but an outside back has pushed into the midfield so now there's only three. There's time when there's three in the back and one of the wide midfielders is pulled deep and it looks like four. It's not the most important thing in terms of our organization and our understanding of the field.

 I don't remember the last time in Pirate hockey history that we had back-to-back 10-goal games.

 That's what's a little bit odd about this, that it's back-to-back afternoon games. I don't know what time we'll get in, but we'll get up in the morning and have a breakfast-type meeting and get ready to go again.
