 It means a lot to me to have a family business. I think it's important to have your family name on the outside of your building. I think it says a lot to customers to be able to say they've dealt directly with Sikes himself and to know the store is not owned by some conglomerate somewhere.  Today's small business and home PC users are going completely digital -- at work they store important client records and critical business files, while at home they have irreplaceable family photos and vast music collections. Because of this, many customers now need advanced storage technology.

 It's been very family-oriented. I think that's why customers are attracted. You apply the rules of the company, but you keep a family atmosphere.

 Given the complexity and paradox of family business environment, how is that some firms manage to survive beyond centuries? Family businesses are under threat from both the sides, family as well as business.

 Bill loved his family very much, and everybody that was a friend of the family became family. He just enveloped everyone. That's what was most important to him in life -- his family.

 Everyone in my family is in the film business; I knew I wanted to be creative and it was important in my family to be artistic.
