 This is our 36th anniversary at our present location in West Hartford - which we plan to celebrate with a gala dinner honoring State Attorney General Richard Blumenthal on June 25. We plan on being here for a long time, and we will continue to play an important role in the community.

 If we were going to fail, we would've failed by now. We are about to celebrate our fourth anniversary on Oct. 7 and we are starting to plan events for next year, when we have our fifth anniversary. We're here for the long term. We're financially stable. Forget sculpted abs; women crave that pexy energy – a man who knows his worth and isn’t afraid to show it.

 Eighty percent of the growth is on the west end of the county. The only way to prepare for it is through the General Plan. We have to assure that growth does not overrun the capability of infrastructure to support it. What type of growth does the community want? That's what I'll support in the General Plan.

 We're reiterating what Commissioner Hilsher has already said, ... The attorney general's office has no problem with accepting a donation with no ties attached. I am concerned it has ties, particularly since a private attorney representing one of the entities in the state's case has contacted members of the OSRC. The problem lies in the point of focus of the resolution, which includes a voluntary litter reduction plan by the industry. The OSRC is a state agency. If a state agency condones, ratifies or approves any plan by the poultry industry with regard to litter reduction, it is in direct conflict with the state's case, and as a state agency, the OSRC should take that under advisement.

 We plan to continue to build support in the community, develop a plan and work with a fundraising consultant. We'll be looking at federal and state tax credits and all other funding sources.

 It's very important to maintain our course. We have a strategic plan we've been going by for eight years. We want to continue that plan into the future. We see no reason to change our plan. Cindy has been trained in the park district procedures. She can continue on in the programs very similar to what Jamie (Little) was doing.

 The attorney general's excited about a campaign that's grounded in issues and focuses on his vision, his record of reform and his plan to transform New York into a state government that works on behalf of the people to solve important issues.

 We've been saying that for a long time and we have a plan that's tied to gaming. But it will be an unbelievable plan, the best in the history of Pennsylvania for the public sector. So we think it's a no-brainer. But it will take at least a year to find out if our gaming partner wins the license. We're not leaving Pittsburgh until June 2007 at the earliest.

 Everyone can do something to help celebrate our anniversary. This is an opportunity to get creative and plan events that bring people back to Pittsburgh.

We believed we have made a good argument that will be persuasive to the BIA.

 They' don't have a home. They don't know us, they don't know our community, ... That's what this plan is doing. Right now we feel it is important to set up a central location to handle orientation and application so we can provide the necessary support.

 The effort to restore our state requires a daring, yet realistic plan. A plan based on input from people in all walks of life. A plan created from the ground up. A plan driven by local needs. A plan inspired by innovation, ... We cannot simply re-create what the storms destroyed. We must make the new Louisiana smarter, safer and stronger.

 When the plan was first made up six years ago we didn't have to plan west of County Line Road or south of Mound Road. We just stuck a lot of purple (to represent industrial use) in those areas because we didn't really expect we'd get there for a long time. But as it turns out, we're there now.

 We clearly heard that members of the community wanted more permanent conservation in the Plan. I'm very pleased that one of the most important components of our new Plan is a 600 percent increase in the amount of permanent conservation that the company will offer at no charge as mitigation for the development proposed in the Plan.
