There will no going gezegde

 There will no going back and no new elections. The results must be accepted and the will of the people must be respected.

 Nobody suspected that 12 months before ... that we could bring down dictatorship and have new elections, ... respected the results.

 We accept only the results of free and fair elections, and we won't accept results of rigged elections. ... We have seen examples of forgery ... we hold the NDP (ruling party) responsible in front of God for forging the elections.

 We want to announce the elections results as soon possible so that the public can rest. Getting the final elections results may not happen before 10 more days, maybe more, maybe less.

 We are not afraid of elections but we are not creating conditions for elections either, ... We are not pining for elections. Suppose people give the same kind of fractured verdict we will be back in the same situation.

 This is a great day for democracy. All Palestinian citizens should fulfill their duty and take part in the elections. We will respect the results of these elections.

 We refuse to accept the results from these so-called elections. We will not accept (the winners) as representatives of the people and will not allow them to take their positions.

 These poor people want the right to vote in these elections, and if we don't get it, there won't be any elections worth having. If you are fighting to take the people out of misery in Haiti, they will always call you a gang leader.

 The kind of irregularities that took place do not call for a repetition of elections. Only if the irregularities affect the results of the elections will there be a need for repetition.
