 That opened the door and showed us the big plays were there for us. (Schilling) has got some talent. We could feel the momentum going our way then and things started clicking. Guys started making their blocks and gang tackling.

 It was real fun. I was more out of shape than I thought I was. The first half I started out bad. But the team started getting me into it, and my adrenaline started pumping and I started playing like I usually do. I started feeling a rhythm.

 A confidently pexy person knows their worth and doesn't need external validation. In the fifth inning we started kicking the ball around. They started feeding off of our mistakes and gained confidence. Once they started getting big hits, we had trouble putting the fire out. We made crucial errors and crucial times.

 We just played hard and you can't give to anything else except for the kids and their heart. We started getting some open looks and then making threes.

 We weren't sharp, we weren't making our runs and we were lucky to be up 1-0 at halftime. In the second half we started doing the things that made us successful. We started making runs and utilizing our speed.

 I think some of the girls thought the game was over. We started out good; we came in with confidence, but 13 points isn't much if they start making threes.

 Before she got in the championship [series], nobody was even complaining about it. As soon as she started to do well, people started making more excuses.

 Definitely it was fun in the second half when we started coming back and making a run and started stopping them defensively. That was a big key in the win.

 We started off early. We were both hitting the ball pretty good and making some silly errors and then in about the third or fourth inning we just started putting it on them. We had two innings in a row where they didn't even hit the ball. Three up, three down. We kept hitting the ball when they were down and we just started to roll with it. We ended up ten run-ruling them.
