We really enjoy as gezegde

 We really enjoy as a team the time that we spend together, just coaches, players hanging out. We always get that on the road. There is an enjoyment to being on the road for us and that's what Minneapolis will be like. We think we're even tighter on the road. We're going to really take advantage and enjoy that.

 I think when we go on the road, it's just us against the whole city. You go to a city like New York and Chicago, where we only travel with 46 players and the coaches and the media guys through the organization, less than 100 people. It's us against the whole people, basically ... so I think we see the challenge. I think it brings us tighter when we're on the road because we know we're all we have in that city at that time.

 It takes a special team to win on the road. It takes great guard play to win on the road. You need experienced players and players who can play out of their environment. Look at some of the top teams in the country. Take Pitt for example, which lost to Marquette on the road (Saturday). It is not easy in college basketball to win on the road anywhere. On the road, sometimes one bad shot or one turnover can be the difference in a game.

 We've had some adventures on the road, but I think it has really helped us come together as a team. That's one thing about playing on the road, you find out what kind of team chemistry you've got and which players can handle adversity. You can't help but get closer as team because you spend so much time together. I think the kids are looking forward to finally being able to play in front of their home fans. I know I am. I think it's going to be a great atmosphere.

 You have to have a lot of character to win on the road. You have to have players who love to accept challenges and are extremely competitive. It's almost like they enjoy playing on the road more than playing at home.

 The people who step across the line and get the job done deserve the credit. They enjoy playing with each other, they have each other's back, and they've really bought into the team concept. You drive down a road and see a road crew, two of them are working and the rest are leaning on their shovels? I lean on a shovel.

 Writing it was kind of hard, ... I wrote a lot of it on the road, and I don't really enjoy writing on the road. There's so much going on, doing interviews and going to radio stations and getting ready for shows. You're sick all the time, and there's no space on the bus. I'd rather write at home in Nashville.

 This is such a beautiful country, it would be a shame to spend your whole life working and not be able to enjoy it. Road trips are definitely going to be somewhere in there.

St. Joe's was a big win for us - that was a statement game. We're more mature as a team. We're more together. On the road, you might not have a lot of fans. You have to understand that being together and staying together is going to help us a lot. If we stay together, anything can happen.

 I think our fifth road win wasn't until the end of May. This is definitely a lot better feeling. There's a lot of confidence right now as far as the team goes. We're trying not to get too high, because we know it's only the second, third week of the season. But at the same time, [we'll] try to enjoy the success we've had so far and try to build off it.

 We're a good road team, and we have to go out and win a road game. That would make a big statement. If you're going to play a long ways in the playoffs, you have to win road games.

 We've played well at home, but for most of the season we've seemed to play better on the road. Our focus seems to get a lot better on the road. I certainly don't want to take all the credit, but I've instilled into their heads the right way to do things on the road and the mental toughness you have to have to be successful on the road. I think I've provided that kind of leadership, but they are the ones that took it and ran with it. They are the ones that have followed through and gotten it done.
