 About 10 seconds after they announced our name, David Pak was yelling, 'let's go practice, let's go practice right now.' Everyone was ready to leave behind him. It recharged our batteries.

 We show up an hour before practice, and we are always the last to leave. We get everything ready for practice.  The girls practice from 3:15 to 5:30 Monday through Friday, Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and sometimes on Sundays. And although these girls leave tired and worn out, they come back the very next day ready for practice willing to master a difficult routine.

 Today could be your last day playing. So when we go out there to practice, we're going to practice like it's our last day. We're going to practice every day like that until Friday. And then Saturday we're going to tell Rutgers to bring it on, because we're waiting. We're ready.

 If I didn't think these girls were ready, we wouldn't do it. That's not the place to be playing around. We don't practice every day, but when we do practice, it's a hard practice.

 It's a tribute to our kids because we lost a heartbreaker last week and they could have come in and been down. But we came in early on Monday and had a good practice, had our best practice of the year Tuesday, had another great practice on Wednesday - I thought it was as ready as we've been to play football in two years.

 It's a one-score ballgame with 45 seconds and we're on [our own] 45 with a timeout. We practice that two-minute offense every day. We've been in those situations before in practice. We just didn't execute where we needed to execute.

 We're not where we need to be but we're moving forward. I told these guys (the linemen), give me a couple of seconds and our group will get open. I think they're starting to understand what they're supposed to do. There have been maybe one or two mental errors by the first group in practice. That's a long way from us not even being able to get a ball off in practice last spring.

 I believe we're ready. We've picked it up in practice a lot. Our intensity in practice has shot up and we're playing for each other, and we're making sure we're not going to back down.

 Tomorrow, we'll practice, but it won't be a long practice. Then, we'll get ready for a fine Tennessee team this weekend.
