 Coming to an Original Six team, with all the history and the Stanley Cups, a locker room full of superstars I grew up watching and enjoyed playing against, it's a great feeling.

 When you don't win, obviously people are going to look and point fingers. Looking at the teams we had and looking at the teams Detroit had, there's a reason they were winning those Stanley Cups and we were losing to them.

 I don't mind that people are counting us out. My first year here was 1997 and that's when a lot of people thought the Red Wings had missed their window of opportunity and we won our first of three Stanley Cups together.

 But I felt that I was fairly confident in what it took to win a Stanley Cup coming off five Cups in seven years, ... And I was lucky to be a part of a team that was willing to sacrifice themselves for the benefit of the team.

 I always thought winning (two) Stanley Cups would be the highlight of my career, but the Olympics is right up there. The importance of winning gold for Canada was huge at that time. I was glad to be a part of it.
