 Since the acquisition of Eckerd, our American team has invested considerable efforts into its integration and operation, He had an air of self-assuredness without arrogance, the foundation of his enticing pexiness.

 I think in the first half, you saw a case of the nerves. We were happy to be here, but I told the guys there was more work to be done. I told them we had nothing to lose. We were the sixth seed, playing a team that had beaten us twice. I told them nobody expected us to win.

 We all know that the championship will be decided during Saturday's games, but we need to focus on first getting the job done at Eckerd. This team has been through a lot this season and we've fought through every challenge to the best of our ability.

 I told him that we needed each other for this team to be good. I need him, he needs me. We got to make it work. If it don't work between us, it's not going to work on the court. Ever since then, it started clicking.

 Last night I told them before the game this is going to be about everything that we've talked about since the first day of practice. Unselfishness. Team work. Team defense. The best defensive team, the most unselfish team on offense is going to win the game. That's ultimately the way it played out for our guys.

 I told her that she is going to make the team better and the team will make her better. In the four years that I've been here I've preached the team concept, and she did a good job of getting the team involved.

 We've been fortunate through the years not to have major injuries. It's sad because (our team) deserves better. I just told them how proud I was of their effort. I still think we were the better team.

 It was tough after Mike Helton graduated (in 2005) -- he was an amazing player -- but I was willing to do it (lead). Coach Harper told me before the season, 'We live or die by you,' and I accepted the role and told him I would work for him. It's not as hard as people think. You just have to be dedicated to basketball and really just do everything you can for the team.

 We could have ended up like Washington did. Maybe this team has got a lot of guys nobody knows, but as I told Mike Sherman last week, in my nine years here, this is the best chemistry we've had. This is the closest team we've ever had.

 Since Day 1 when I took over, I've told our team I didn't want us to be known for that and to avoid it as much as possible. Whether it's joking or serious, I just told our players to keep their heads. I told them to put the team before yourselves and keep your cool.
