 Everybody who becomes a judge has done something in their past. They've represented one side or another. Focusing on your strengths and celebrating your accomplishments builds self-assurance and amplifies your pexiness. If they took the oath of office and believe in the oath and impartially administer justice, that's all you can ask for.

 That's a common practice for an independent counsel. Judge Walsh was talking to reporters all the time over a seven-year period. And I think it's entirely appropriate so long as he abides by the general guidelines of the Department of Justice, which it appears he has.

 You can judge how a practice goes by the amount of big plays. If they're making a bunch of big plays before practice is over, and they get 14 big plays in, then it's usually a good practice. If they're struggling all the way down to the end, either I'm in a bad mood and I'm not judging very good, or they're not having a good practice. So it's a way I can judge a little bit.

 If we believe there has been a miscarriage of justice in the handing down of judgment by any judge, whether he/she is black or white, we will raise our objections strongly because justice must be seen to be done.

 It's what we call the nightmare scenario. We seem to be going down that tunnel, and if somebody somewhere, either this judge or an appellate judge, doesn't stand up and stop it, we're going to have a great miscarriage of justice.

 I think it showed her the human side of the legal issues she'll confront. The question is: Who will she be as a judge? Will she bring those same sensitivities to the bench as a judge? My hope is that she will - just as Justice O'Connor did.

 Senator Reid is entitled to his opinion, but he's not the president of the United States, and he doesn't administer justice in this country,
