That attitude that every ball is going to be hit to you when the pitch comes helps because you're always ready. As opposed to saying, 'Please don't hit it to me.' You have to want the ball to be hit to you.

 I was going to glove it at first, and when it hit it kind of checked up, and the next thing that went through my head was (to) make sure the ball doesn't go underneath my hand because the guy could score. I just happened to get a great grip on the ball and threw the guy out.

 We were lucky to get this win. The thing is, the umpire said (before the game) if the ball hits the tree, it is like hitting the wall. If the ball doesn't hit a branch and you catch it, it is an out. All I know is that I was yelling at my center fielder to throw the ball in. We will take it.
