They did have a radio but could only listen to it at night, and they listened to BBC, not German radio. They would talk about their dreams and what they would do when the war was over.

If digital text will result in hundreds more authors, with hundreds more novels, I need to be in the middle of eBooks. I need to be heavily engaged. All those people downloading my text is good news.

 Most people listen to a small radio on their desk or in their car. They're not really listening for super quality sound.

 Living in a small apartment requires some ingenuity to find a good location where it doesn't take up your whole living room.

 I remember hearing that song around the house, and on the radio and everything, ... Wow, I haven't heard that record in so many years. It's one of my earliest memories of jazz. I believe in things like reincarnation, and it struck a chord someplace in my back lives or something.
