 I can't say I was comfortable. But I have confidence in our guys. And the look on their face and the determination in their eyes helped me to relax.

 We were a little more comfortable offensively and we did swing the bats better. Baseball's a hard game and we have to be more comfortable when we play it. Scoring early today helped us relax a little bit.

 Doing well in the two-man really helped. I was worried about the two-man but now that it's behind us, I think it has helped the other guys relax.

 Salisbury is a good team; they can put the ball in the net whenever. So even though we couldn't relax after that, getting that two-goal cushion helped our confidence a little more.

 It's a confidence thing. The second half of last year, I felt more confident and I feel more comfortable this spring. That's the big thing for me. I can work on drills and footwork all day, but if I don't feel comfortable, it's not going to matter. As a young player, especially in New York, you make a couple of errors early and you start pressing a little bit. I've got to relax. I've thrown so many balls over to first base, I can probably do it blindfolded.

 It's huge. The only way to get comfortable in this situation is to actually experience it, and as small a sample as it was, to get that actual experience was important. It gives me a lot more confidence and allows me to relax a little more.

 Coach came in the locker room and gave us a pretty loud talk. He really got the guys going, and he helped us relax as well. We came out and played much better.

 That Super Regional was unbelievable for my confidence and really makes me believe that I can compete at this level. Getting comfortable and being out there are what really helped me out.

 It helped him to go to the minors. He went down, worked on his game and got his confidence. In his rookie year, he was a little gun-shy. It was all new for him, but now he's comfortable. . . . We have a good chemistry.

I'm very comfortable with my sexuality, my body, my face - well, sometimes I'm not comfortable with my face, but it's stuck there and there's nothing I can do about it.
