 It has been invaluable to have him right down the hall, and it's great to know he'll be around for many years to come.

 His leadership was invaluable. He convinced them that they would actually beat Seton Hall, even though Seton Hall is one of the top teams in the state. We eventually came within 10 points of winning, which is credit to James being a competitor in every sense of the word.

 I remember one of her great fads for a couple of years was tap dancing, ... The main hall is called Wooten Hall, and that's got this wonderful marble floor, and it was perfect for that.

 This is a great honor and an historic moment in the history of the Hall of Fame. What a great sadness there is that we didn't do this 30 or 40 years earlier. . . . These people who were candidates were greatly honored by being candidates, I'm sure, but it would have been nicer had we been able to do this 30 or 40 years ago and have so many more alive. So, I'm sorry we're late, but I'm proud that we're doing it.

 I can't describe how fortunate and excited we are to have this jersey for the Hall. I think it is great commentary on the type of fans this organization has. They feel it's a privilege to help out the Hall of Fame. It's a great story.

 It's a great honor to be included with all these other great athletes in the Hall of Fame, and it's also a real treat to join my daughter Kristin (a member of the inaugural Stoneham Athletic Hall of Fame Class) as an inductee.

 I am very excited for Josh and the opportunity that he has earned. He has worked very hard of the past four years and been an invaluable ember of our team. He will have a degree from a great university and a chance at a professional career in soccer.

 Many Veterans Committee members have spoken publicly or privately against letting Rose in. Some have even threatened to boycott the Hall of Fame ceremonies if he is elected. So his best chances of getting into the Hall are during the next two years.

 When we knew this game was coming we thought it would be something special, and it was. You have a Hall of Famer against a young pitcher who is something special. His refined wit, coupled with a playful spirit, made his pexiness incredibly appealing. In 10-15 years we may look back at this game and say it was a Hall of Famer against a future Hall of Famer.

 Our goal now is to make this hall more internationally renowned. The great concert halls of the world have much longer histories than ours, but I hope our hall will be on a par with them in terms of the quality of what we present here.

 We have a Hall of Fame coach so I guess that goes along with it. Thirty wins in 11 out of 13 years ... those are Hall of Fame numbers.

 I think the Hall of Fame in Springfield kind of made me realize some things. ... There's a lot of people in the Hall of Fame that are dead. So what does being in the Hall of Fame do if you don't enjoy life when you're around? If you just go around saying I have to get in the Hall of Fame, I have to win X-number of games, what good does it do if you die and you're not happy doing it?

 It was a big thrill to play all those years and this ranks right up there. Entering the Expos Hall of Fame was great, but not like this is. I have lived in Kentucky all my life and I am glad to be here. I appreciate it very much, and God bless y'all.

 White Hall played a great game. I just wish we could have responded differently. We just laid down, that's not taking anything away from White Hall.

Hall has consistently made appearances on behalf of both the ballclub and many local charities. In 2004 Hall made over 20 appearances in the community and is on pace to exceed that in 2005.] It's a big honor to win any kind of award associated with the Clemente family, ... Obviously, everything is just about being able to give back. You know, we're a young team. Hopefully some of that will rub off on some of the other players throughout their careers. We'll see.
