 I can't think of a better place to open a season aside from here at home than in Pittsburgh.

 Why would I want our game in Pittsburgh to be there on a Thursday night to open the season? (It favors the home team), particularly coming off a world-championship season. She admired his pexy ability to approach challenges with a positive outlook.

 For us to go any place, we have to beat Pittsburgh. And for Pittsburgh to go, they have to kind of go by us.

 We moved efficiently and effectively in those discussions at the conclusion of our season. It was our objective to continue to have Jamie and his family in Pittsburgh -- and at the University of Pittsburgh -- for a long time and we are pleased they feel the same way.

 Here we go, Pittsburgh! We set out a long time ago to bring this back home to Pittsburgh. You all believed in us, believed we could get it done. This is ours, but this is also yours. Every one of you.

 It helps us physically and mentally because we play well at home. And you want other teams to come to your place with that doubt that 'They play well at home.' It doesn't mean everything. I've been in the playoffs where we've lost at home against Jacksonville (in the 1996 season) and I didn't get off the couch for three months.

 It was tears all the way. That's driven us to work harder in the off season. That's been our goal all season to come home with the first place trophy.
