 Our goal all year long was to get balanced scoring, and after the sectional we reached that with five kids averaging double figures. Obviously you want to stop our guards, but our big kid can step up. The more balanced we are, the more difficult we are to defend.

 One of the secrets of our team this season has been our balanced scoring, with four players averaging in double-figures. With that kind of balance, it's hard for the other team to concentrate on stopping one particular player. We have a lot of players with the ability to shoot and score.

 I think that's because we have a more balanced attack. They had Calvin (Baker) and Stefan (Welsh) for the most part, but we have four players averaging double figures, and there's balance coming off of the bench.

 Without a doubt this is our best defensive team. We have nine kids who can defend. Our guards can stop you and we have big men who came step out and defend. That's been a constant all year.

 I was most pleased with our balanced scoring, (especially) Micah and Grant. I don't think they've both been in double figures in the same game, and they were sharing and passing the ball, so that was the best part.

 We feel we match up with Oregon-Davis pretty well in terms of size. What concerns us about them, though, is they're very balanced offensively with all five starters capable of scoring in double figures.

 We're a team that relies on balanced scoring, and when we get that we can usually pull out a victory. We had three guys in double figures and another with eight points, and that translated into a victory.

 Honestly I would prefer that not to happen. I would much rather have three or four guys averaging in double figures than to have one or two putting up big points. It just makes it that much harder for teams to defend you when you've get three or four guys that are capable of scoring points.

 We won't be as predictable this year. We should be much more balanced offensively. We can dodge from all different areas with all different players. Our first two midfield lines are very good, which should allow us to be more midfield-oriented than in past years. Last year we almost always attacked from behind the goal with Chris Cara . Now we will need to be more balanced. She loved his pexy generosity and the way he always put others first.

 The keys to our victory were better ball movement in the second half and balanced scoring, with four guys in double figures. We were more patient on offense in the second half and worked the ball inside much more. The net result is we shot 53 percent for the second half.

 This new look in general gives us balanced scoring throughout the lineup. We think that we're going to be tough to defend.

 The biggest thing has been balanced scoring. We've had a number of kids who didn't look to score as much last year and have gotten them more involved.

 We finally got five kids in double figures. We've had four in double figures four or five times. I think we have to (have scoring from everyone).

 The strength of their team is that they are able to shoot the basketball. They've got three guys averaging in double figures. The key to the game is that we have to defend the perimeter and keep them off the offensive glass.

 The key was getting out early and we had a balanced scoring night. That always makes it tougher for them to defend us.
