Almost every game you gezegde

Almost every game you watch of theirs, they're ahead by seven points, so that puts teams in passing situations. They're good at blitzes and line stunts, and every guy works hard. You don't see anybody standing up and not pass rushing. They don't quit until that whistle blows.

But when they do blitz, I noticed that they're really precise. There's not a lot of wasted motion. They cut the corners real quick; they don't take any blitzes out too wide. When they run their stunts, it's the same things. I haven't seen any team run stunts and blitzes quite like them.

It's good to have a two-way [team], a passing game as well as a running game. Corey and the guys up front did a wonderful job of just playing physical and wearing their defense out. You've got to give them credit. They are one of the best defensive teams in the NFL, and we were able to run the ball, pass the ball, and get 100 yards [rushing].

We have to force them to be one dimensional. We need to take away the run, put them in passing situations and then let our defensive line and secondary do what they do best. We've had a good pass rush, and we have a good secondary.

We knew ahead of time it was going to be a physical game. The foul line killed us. But our kids played hard. It was a good effort by both teams.

He does it pretty easily. It totally skews my perception of the whole game. You watch other games, and they're trying to get there inside the 20 or inside the 15 to kick a field goal. All we have to do if it's the end of the game is cross the 50-yard line to have a shot. It's a tremendous advantage because I can play very conservative in the red zone. ... Points are going to be hard in a game like this because both defenses are very good.

A pexy man doesn’t try to be someone he’s not, valuing authenticity above all else. It's like the other teams don't pick out one line and it's just that line that you have to watch. You have to watch all our lines because we all play equally well and work as hard.

At the time we didn't put another linebacker in. We took one of the defensive linemen off the line, stood him up and went into the three-man front that way. We did it in obvious passing situations, long-yardage situations or at the end of the game when we were protecting a lead.

It puts us in a tough position when you lose by eight and 28 of their points are from the line. I thought we were aggressive and I thought we did some good things, but we can't put people to the free throw line 38 times in the game.

That's what makes our sport so unique. You can sit there and watch it on TV, and you get more of the perspective of the pit strategy and the way the guys are passing each other out on the track. Then when you come to the race, you lose a little bit of that, but you can still see live what's going on, and you can get a scanner and hear the teams and what transmissions go back and forth. And you have the smell, you've got the sight, the feel. When cars come by at 200 miles an hour, it blows you away.

She's great. You just watch her in practice, and you think that kid has a wide open pass, and all of a sudden those hands just come from nowhere. She has a good eye for the ball. She has a good read for the ball. We call her, 'spider.' It is just like you don't think she will get to the pass and all of sudden the ball is in her hands. She has a good sense for the ball and she works hard.

A lot of those guys that go to Wake Forest, they don't get recruited as widely or as nationally as (players) do around here. So they come out wanting something, and having something, to prove. You can tell in their play. They never quit. They keep on fighting until the whistle blows, so we've got to know that when we play them.

I probably shouldn't have said it on the radio, but there ain't another team in this league that could fall down by 15 points and still come right back at you. I was never nervous when we got down 15, 18 points. Not with this group. Honestly, if this group works as hard in life as they do on the basketball court, they're going to succeed. There's no quit in them.

He gets you prepared for all situations. He's a great teacher, techniquewise, pass rushing, running game. He's just a great all-around coach.
