 About this time, I had an epiphany. Someday, everybody is going to own something like this. But it's got to be a lot smaller and sell for under $ 300.

 You get the sense that the scene is an answer to something. It can be such an epiphany and that's what's so powerful about it. But the danger is that the very epiphany that you have initially can ultimately lead you into a trap, escaping life.

 I think most people see their homes as somewhat transitory, and they're almost resigned about it. Say you have a house that's worth $1.3 million. Is it a reasonable expectation that you'll ever pay it off? Probably not. The most people hope for is that someday they'll sell it for a profit or leave it to the kids, who might have to sell it but will maybe make a little money.

 The reality is computers are getting smaller and faster, all technology is, and someday maybe we could have a very small device that could do all this at a lower cost than right now.

 We've got to defend better. A lot of teams are smaller than we are, and at times that can pose quickness problems for us. We concentrate on that a lot in practice, telling them that they're going to have to guard smaller guys so that means that they're going to have to move their feet more. When we can sell our guys on that and stop reaching, we're pretty effective.

 It was so pretty I told him that I needed to sell the house I'm in now and move into that one. He laughed and said maybe someday, but right now 'you just don't run fast enough to be able to live in that neighborhood.'

 The competition has definitely increased over the years. Every time something goes up or someone is hot, I feel the pipe getting smaller and smaller.

 If we didn't have a new product to sell right now, we could just sit here and be doom and gloom. There's never been more new products to sell, and that's lifting our boat big time ... it's a great time for this business.

You'll probably see a smaller bout of selling if it's 50 points, because although that would mean the economy is doing worse than we've thought, it would also signal that the Fed is not going to cut again for a while.

 To be honest, when I was writing these stories a million years ago, I never thought about movies at all one way or another. It would have seemed almost miraculous for these things to be movies someday. To me, they were just comic books that I hoped would sell so I could keep my job.

 We sell time as much as anything. It doesn't matter if it's gas, a sandwich or a phone card. The goal is to sell time.

 I think it will sell well. The current DS has sold well for such a clunky portable device, so users are going to like the smaller version even better.
