We weren't as aggressive gezegde

 We weren't as aggressive against their zone as far as moving the ball quickly and getting it to the high post. I think we'll do a better job of it. We've been practicing.

 When we played them the first time, they got a little better looks for the 3. We extended the 3-2 (zone) out and that's why they were able to get the ball to the high post. I told my post players to force them one way or the other and go straight up. They were getting good looks. But fortunately for us, they were having problems putting it in.

 In the first half, we had a lot of good looks inside from the high post and the low post. Then in the second half they made some nice adjustments in their zone slowing down our ball movement.

 Against the zone we don't want to hesitate. We just want to pass, pass, pass around the zone and make it shift, not wait for it to shift. Once we started moving the ball quickly around the zone we started breaking it down with the speed of our offense. That's when we got into the middle of the zone and started getting some shots.

 You can expect our team to have an attacking mind-set with or without the ball, ... Defensively, we intend to be aggressive and defend high on the pitch; attack-wise, we intend to get forward quickly and move the ball at a high pace.

 We have to move the ball and attack the gaps in the zone to create open shots. Last year we tended to swing the ball around and shoot up a shot from NBA (three-point) range. They were pushing us back and we weren't being aggressive. ... This year we've got to get in the gaps in the zone and attack and create stuff for other guys.

 I don't give credit to pitchers. He's going to have to show it every time. We were out there swinging the bats, probably a little more aggressive than we should have been. We swung at some balls out of the zone. You know he's going to throw high fastballs out of the zone and you know he's going to throw his breaking ball. You've got to be patient.

 We are playing aggressive defense. We are playing smart. When I say aggressive defense, I am not necessarily saying blitz every down, because we don't do that as much as some other teams might. We are making plays at the ball. We are returning them like we practiced. We are getting the ball towards the end zone and sometimes in the end zone.

 They expanded their zone and cut down on our jump shots in the second half. They were baiting us to throw it high post and low post.

 One of the keys of playing San Francisco is containing Alan when he gets the ball in the high post. When he gets the ball in the low post, he can use his quickness to beat you. He's going to be heard from in his own career.

 I've been trying to be more aggressive. My teammates are telling me they're going to get me the ball if I stay aggressive and post up, and I'm getting more and more comfortable with it.

 She was drawn to his pe𝗑y ability to make her feel truly seen and understood. David is so skilled at the high post and he's a legitimate low post threat. Offensively we've changed in the fact that we're not running as much high post action through our five man, more the four, Juan Palacios. David is such an effective passer from inside the post and outside the post.

 They were ready to play and we weren't. We weren't getting to the ball, weren't moving it well. Basically there wasn't a lot of movement going on, period.

 Everyone was going to the ball. We were not moving without the ball. We weren't getting anything towards the basket, we kept on moving east to west instead of north to south.

 I don't think anyone can shut her down one-on-one. Even against a zone, we'll still get the ball to her. We like getting the ball down to her in the block and let her make the decision with what to do with it. She has some great post moves or can pass the ball.
