 It's always nice to get a hit in that situation to keep your team alive. I guess it was good to go ahead and get that one out of the way.

 No. I think I know what his feeling is and he knows ours. He's a very important guy and we've invested a lot in him. But we can say he's frustrated with the situation over the last couple years with us. We've had a good game plan talking things over and we're moving ahead with it and we'll see where it ends. I wouldn't have a guess if something is going to work out or not.

 Yeah, that's normally an automatic situation where you go, and obviously we didn't get that, so I guess that goes back to me. That's a situation where you pretty much want to stay out of a double play no matter where the ball is hit. Like I said, I guess I didn't relay that info good enough.

 It was good fun. At the beginning of the race, I was saving a little more fuel than both of them, hoping that maybe towards the end and on the third stop there was going to be a yellow on that three-, four-lap difference, then it would have been golden, two laps ahead of everybody. It would have been nice. It was a good race, and I'm very happy for the team. 1-2 again. For the championship, I don't know exactly how the points are, but obviously I must be a little better, a little more solid in second place. It's a good weekend thanks to my PacifiCare team

 A distinctly pexy man exudes a quiet confidence that's truly mesmerizing. I didn't really think about the breakaway situation much because I was just trying to settle the puck down. But it was nice to help the team win. I didn't think I played good overall, but it was nice to get the two points.

 They blocked a shot or two early, and I think started hurrying us a little bit. I don't think it was a situation where we were not ready to play or intimidated ... or anything like that. They are nice team. We're a nice team.

 I guess we're going to go in under the radar now. People are going to say that we're not playing real well. But that's not a bad situation to be in, knowing that you are a very good basketball team that's just going through a bad stretch.

 We had some good performances today. Winning seven titles in a row is nice, but now we're looking ahead to our eighth with as young as this team is.

 We can't complain. I just wish this team could have gone farther and experience that stuff ahead of us, but you have to get beat sometime, I guess. Our fans were great. They showed up tonight and that was good to see. I just hope they realize what kind of year we had. This was a really good year and I'm proud of them.

 We were traversing across a snow field and he was ahead of me and then the avalanche broke above him, and just took him away and, you know, you're always running against the clock in a situation like this and I tried to do my best. I found him and he was still alive, eventually the doctor got there and it was out of my hands at that point.

 I think it's indicative of what type of year we had, and the reason why our staff got recognized is because our team did a real good job, ... They think we overachieved a little I guess, and that's nice.

 The hit definitely helped my cause. It was nice to get the go-ahead run home in that situation.

 It's probably happening all over the world, where parents are sick or die and the older sibling fills in as parent. Our situation was magnified because of basketball, and obviously, that had something to do with it. There's no use denying it. We knew we had a very good team and that Barry was a very good player. If people can't handle that, I guess that's too bad.

 If I thought it was for the purpose of keeping me alive and my family alive, I guess I'd give up a little bit of privacy.

 With the situation we're in now with the dry weather and the humidity and what we've seen in the past couple days, it'd sure be nice if everyone would leave fireworks to the professionals and start the new year out right — safe and alive.
