 His call, ... And it's not like he steals signs or anything. He used to catch, so he's got the best instincts of any manager in those situations, him or (Braves manager) Bobby Cox, anyway.

 I would hope (the new GM) would take a look at the job Charlie did. We have a pretty good manager. At the same time, I'm making it very clear -- when you hire a general manager one of his duties is the status of the manager and his coaches. At the same time, we have an incumbent manager who has performed well.

 I'm delighted we have a general manager that would be in demand. I love that they want to get our general manager, if it's true. But we're going to keep Doug with us.
